Who this is

Ralph Curtis is a musician based in Southwest Florida. This site is operated by RALPH FIDALEO MUSIC LLC (“Ralph Curtis,” “we,” or “us”), the entity responsible for information collected here. This is a simple, single-page artist site — there are no user accounts or logins. This policy explains what information the site collects when you visit or reach out, and how that information is used. It’s written to be honest about what actually happens here, not to bury you in boilerplate.

Information collected

The site only collects information in a few specific places:

• Contact form. When you reach out about booking or a general inquiry, you voluntarily provide your name, email address, an optional phone number, and your message. That’s the only personal information the form asks for.
• Tips & support payments. Voluntary tips are handled entirely by Stripe (for card payments) and by Cash App or Venmo (for peer-to-peer transfers). This site never sees or stores your full card number — that payment data is processed by those providers under their own privacy policies. If you include a song request and your name when tipping, those are attached to the payment and emailed to Ralph Curtis so he can play it.
• Anti-spam. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm you’re a real person. To do that, Turnstile may process your IP address and basic browser signals.
• Analytics. Google Analytics 4 automatically collects basic, aggregate usage data when you visit — such as pages viewed, general location, and device or browser type — to help understand how the site is used. This includes a truncated, anonymized IP address and is never used for advertising.
• Server & hosting logs. The site is hosted on a platform that may keep standard request logs — such as IP address and user-agent — for security and reliability.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to your inquiries and booking requests — contact form submissions are delivered by email to Ralph through the email provider Resend, and you’ll also receive an automated email confirming your message was received — to process voluntary tips, and to protect the site from spam and abuse. Your information is never sold or rented to anyone.

Third-party services

A handful of trusted services help run the site. Each maintains its own privacy practices:

• Stripe — processes card payments for tips. See the Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Cash App & Venmo — handle peer-to-peer tips under their own respective privacy practices.
• Cloudflare (Turnstile) — verifies that form submissions come from humans. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
• Resend — delivers contact form submissions by email. See the Resend Privacy Policy.
• Google (Analytics & Search Console) — measures aggregate, anonymous site usage (Analytics) and monitors how the site performs in Google Search (Search Console, which does not set cookies on your device). See the Google Privacy Policy.
• Hosting provider — serves the site and may keep standard request logs under its own privacy practices.
• Purple X Productions — designs and maintains the site and handles contact form submissions on Ralph Curtis’s behalf as a service provider.

Cookies & tracking

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate, anonymous traffic — which pages get visited, general location, and the kind of device and browser people use. We ask for your consent first: when you arrive, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies, and no analytics cookies are set unless you accept. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data, including a truncated, anonymized version of your IP address. This is never used for advertising, and the site doesn’t track you across other websites. Cloudflare Turnstile may also set a functional token to confirm you’re human when you use the contact form. You can change your mind any time by clearing this site’s cookies, and you can opt out of analytics through your browser settings or with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Data retention

Contact emails are kept only as long as needed to respond to your message and maintain reasonable records — no longer than necessary.

Your choices & rights

You can request access to, or deletion of, the information you submitted at any time by emailing booking@ralphcurtismusic.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, and reasonable requests are always welcome.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and it doesn’t knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The “Last updated” date near the top always reflects the latest revision.
